Niall Staines

Niall Staines is an art director and digital artist based in Ireland. His work is graphic, vibrant and visually arresting. Nature is a consistent theme in his work, often turning serene landscapes into surreal dreamscapes.

As head of art at creative agency TBWADublin he is fortunate enough to work within an amazing culture of encouraging and nurturing passion projects. TBWADublin’s ECD writes children’s books, their two creative directors are writing and directing films, and one of their art directors even illustrates comics for DC in his spare time. “These side projects are essentials in full-time creative work. Not least because you need that space to play—where anything goes and you call the shots. It’s where we get to flex and train our creative muscles”

Niall trained in multimedia systems at Dún Laoghaire’s IADT 2007 and and is on the Board for The Institute of Creative Advertising and Design
