Decarbonisation Journey
When Osborne Clarke moved to Halo, one of the UK’s most sustainable office spaces, the transition represented far more than a change of location. It marked a significant milestone in the firm’s sustainability journey and its commitment to a more progressive future, shaped by its strategic pillars of decarbonisation, digitisation and urban dynamics.
Recognising that meaningful engagement happens when people connect emotionally as well as intellectually, Art Acumen developed a poetry-led engagement programme to bring the decarbonisation pillar to life through the experiences of Osborne Clarke's people. Through workshops and reflective questionnaires led by a poet in residence, colleagues explored their own relationships with sustainability, change and their personal decarbonisation journeys.
These contributions informed a bespoke poem that transformed a practical workplace move into a shared experience of reflection, connection and optimism, connecting organisational ambition with individual experience while capturing both the legacy of the past and aspirations for the future.
